Claims Service
When a material loss claim occurs to property caused by events such
as:

Take all
necessary steps to protect your property

Call the
Fire Department, Ambulance, SES or Police as appropriate

If accident
occurs during business hours, take all steps to evacuate all
people at the situation

Providing
there is no dangers, ensure the safe removal of undamaged goods
and company records

Have a
security company secure the situation and if necessary employ an
overnight security guard
-
Report the
incident to C A Insurance Brokers, whenever practicable, but
within 24 hours or the next business day.
Lodging A Claim
Claims vary from minor to major losses and insurance companies have
various methods of reporting.
Listed below are the companies who do not require you to complete a
claim form. A phone call is all that is required. Claims can be
registered and instructions given in relation to where to have the
vehicle towed or where to obtain a quote and have the vehicle
assessed if necessary.
Please have certain information on hand to assist in this process.
If you are registered for GST please provide your ABN and your ITC
percentage. If you are reporting a motor vehicle accident please
have the following details: age, license number of the driver or
person in charge of the vehicle. If you have reported your loss to
the police you need to get a crime report number.
Never admit liability even if you think you are at fault.
